You do know that astrologers at the time accurately predicted a disastrous pandemic on one occasion when Mars, Jupiter and Saturn were in Aquarius?

I had a look and though their ways of measuring conjunctions were similar to ours, there was something pretty close. At the end of Aquarius, though Neptune was also at the beginning of this Sign.

It was predicted that the pandemic would be particularly virulent, being spread through 'bad air.'

The diesase usually culminated quickly enough in septiceamia and total breakdown of all the main organs due to overwhelming infection. This particular disease also had a nice little trick up its sleeve, I hear, in that it could somehow undermine the body's natural immune defences - in this respect, a little like AIDS.

The precession of the equinoxes has made some progress since then, but this was, of course, the Black Death.

Is this in response to what I wrote about Saturn in Virgo ruling over the Aquarian stellium? If so, it's interesting that that was the first thing that jumped to my mind - widespread health concerns. There are, I'm sure some more positive interpretations. However, I don't think this possibility can be ignored.

Hmmm.. positive interpretations. Responsiblity (Saturn) to serve/help (Virgo) your fellow man (Aquarius stellium)?

No. It was in response to what was being written about viruses and the title of the thread. But is Saturn by transit is disposing of this conjunction in Virgo....

A little hypochondria maybe understandable, as someone did tell me recently that this new flu is genuinely the same type as both Spanish flu and bird flu. Maybe the culling of so many animals is less defensible, however. Though I gather it is less likely to kill you off if you live in a well-off country and are fit to begin with. Same with plague, but that is still a more deadly propositon than influenza.

This would have been given the old-fashioned word 'plague' at one time too, as yersina pestis did not have the monopoly of the term.

I don't know if Virgo 'rules' 'zoonotic' diseases, that is, ones spread from animals to people, but from a horary point of view it might.

I have come back to this. I am not sure if it is saturn stationing over my progressed venus, venus finally coming out of her shadow period where she crossed my ascendant or the fact that The trio is so close to my natal chiron. Thanks for that, flea. This has also been my feeling.

Lots of people I know are engaging in some kind of detox - whether this be physical/dietary, spiritual, emotional. I'm surprised at the number who are quite spontaneously making decisions to clean up their acts.

My dreams have been very profound (although their meaning often remains elusive) and there have been some powerful psychic/spiritual experiences being had by those who are not normally sensitive in this way.

Am feeling a level of sensory overload.

If it is, then you could be having a Saurn Return, which is when Saturn first returns to its own place in the chart - at about 29.

It can mean a certain amount of examination of priorities and looking for a future direction in which to be committed.

I feel restless... bordering on unsettled... and I am obsessed with any and all things to do with the "occult" for lack of a better term.

My saturn is in the 7th house, and since I am new I will not pretend to really have any idea what that means... I am working on educating myself though and plan on learning Astrology very seriously as time progresses- IT IS AMAZING!

If you are 26, you have Saturn in Libra. Your Saturn return won't officially begin until this fall - and won't hit the degree of your Saturn in late Libra for quite awhile after that. I would chalk it up to something else going on in your chart - sounds Plutonian or Uranian to me. Nexus7 was guessing, but she had very little to go on. Perhaps you'd like to post your chart on its own thread. I'd bet you could get some good insight by doing that.

I am a big believer in intuition....there are some basic rules....but if you feel it applies to you in a different way.....then go with that. I have spent much time on my own this week due to some laryngitis, that chose this week to make friends. This brings up its own issues of what I am speaking, not speaking etc. With the conjunction trining my gemini JupiterR in 1st...... I think there is something going on. Not upsetting but i am able to focus a bit more on what needs doing.

thx raven.... I think I may have mixed up planetary with polarity healing.... or maybe they are the same thing. I have been on a long journey of healing the inner feminine....of coming to respect for the intuitive, of that knowing that i cannot prove.... I can trust. Neptune being a higher octave of venus, maybe tells us something.

My life has gone through many changes a lot that others have not liked, but I have been compelled to follow my own way in life. I have come to honour my inner intiution on life.... and is serves me well, my am i surprised that my subconscious just comes out with things. I also am aware of the nergy that flows in my body and my ability to direct it with love... never forget the love... it is the fuel for everything good and true. You have to get real quiet and subtle to feel it sense it catch the impressions on the ether. But itis there, I have tested it, and felt it and acted on it, and benefited thus. I would have never thought of myself as an intuitive, but others have been noticing too... my mirrors in life.

I am not sure what is happening in detail.... but feel we have an opportunity to come into contact with who we all are on a much deeper level, and so know more about our existence on earth..... that amazing body of divine light and energy. Feeling into her being as been a major blessing, to feel connected to that whole body of existence.
