timing of injuries

Thanks Frisiangal. I found that sometimes they didn't work (for me, anyhow,) but at other times they were uncannily accurate.

Over the years the degrees have proven their value for me, although perhaps not in the manner I might consider significant. When and what is the meaning of their being activated?
A recent example is my son-in-law's diagnosed tumour in the rectum, apparently now clear after radiation and chemo. treatment. He has nothing in the natal chart on, or aspected to the rectum degree. Secondary progressions activated other planets in the chart but not Mercury, ruler Virgo. Sec. progr. Mercury is currently inconjunct Pluto in Virgo, yet neither is associated with the houses regarding physical issues. It puzzled me.

He has Cancer rising, and sec. progr. Moon has been in the 12th house, crossing Asc. at the time he got the 'all clear', yet it hadn't aspected any natal/progressed planet. Finally, I looked at the 'hypothetical' solar arc directions for this year. Solar Arc Moon is on 7* Virgo ....the rectum degree ... .

I have no explanation for why, but the Ebertin degree IS activated after having conjoined natal Jupiter (tumour) on large intestine degree and ruler 6th house 2 years ago. It is uncanny, yet the astrology IS there. Should it be taken as pure co-incidence, or IS there more to the S.A meaning that the sec. progr. chart should have but did not reveal (or more likely that I could not find)? Cancer isn't something one forgets about once it's over, as one would the injury that heals. It leaves its residue that remains a constant reminder for the rest of one's life.

It remains a puzzle.

To clear any misunderstanding for anyone reading, by this I meant in a mental and/or emotional sense, and not in a physical manner.
