I got a little upset with the thread... I thought it was disrespectful and unfair to say who more attractive than someone else... not nice smh

I agree.. As an Aries rising I am the opposite of what is considered the most beautiful sign

I think Libra rising radiates beauty but not necessarily sexuality..

I am not what you would call 'beautiful' but I have been told that I exude sexuality. (Aries rising, Scorpio sun, merc, mars & pluto) Although I know for a fact some people would think that was ridiculous to hear that said about me (even I would agree with them!), some people find me repulsively ugly, other people are obsessively attracted to me...

But at the end of the day not everyone is attracted to the same!! My beautiful Libra friend (Capricorn rising, Cancer moon), blonde hair, perfect physical features etc, VERY feminine, gets attention from men who would never give me a second look and vice versa...

People either love me or hate me.. I guess that may be typical for a strong Scorpio type.

I think I appear more Libra (the charm, the smile, the dimple) than my Leo rising except for I do have a natural large chest plate and people think I workout and I dont and people like to call me sunshine...lol but I do love gold and I got to have to wear something that I can get their attention if not I'm not going to be happy if I am drunk I have such loud voice to get their attention...

Physically I would have to say Virgo rising guys. I'm a fan of a clean look. Mentally I would say that has more to do with Mars placement. As far as Mars goes I'll take Leo, Aries, Scorpio any day.

My husband is Virgo Rising, but I looked up some others too. I did right by my own internal hotness meter haha. Pluto and Uranus in the 1st, Mars in Aries, and Venus in Leo. A manscaper that isn't too squeamish to dig out his own ingrown hairs is good with me

I disagree.."Humor" is the main subject , and like I said in my original post;"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
I have fallen in love with Fire,Earth and Water Sun Signs..and they were all beautiful to me. ( guess I haven't met the right Air Sign yet
I do think Sun Signs have distinctive character traits.
Most Sensual:
Water: Scorpio
Earth: Taurus
Fire: Leo
Air: ??? undecided, but if I had to guess, I would say Libra.

I agree that beauty comes with all ascendants and the ruler. It is also in the eye of the beholder. There is no set pattern although a strong Venus is almost always present. For me I think Rita Hayworth was the ideal beauty but it is just my taste. We are attracted to those others that connect with our Venus Mars and the Moon.

It does depend on the ruling planet and its aspects. There are those Libra risings who have a challenged Venus who would not be so attractive.

I've read that many celebs, actresses and models have Saggitarian and Leo risings. I'm no expert, but this is what I feel about it:

Sag & Leo rising: 'Wow what a stunner', the 'hotties', not always traditionally beautiful, but always with a strong and hot or radiant presence.

Virgo rising people look innocent like Sophie Marceau,Shannen Doherty and Marion Cotilllard.Also they can be baby faced like Claudia Schiffer(Sun in Virgo),Brigitte Bardot (Moon in virgo).

Capricorn rising people can be fotogenic with symmetrical features with cold and/or serious look. Catherine Deneuve,Monica Bellucci,Carol Bouquet are good examples.

Some Cappies look like goats,Christie Turlington (Sun in Capricorn),Naomi Campbell (Capricorn rising)

I noticed that strong Pesces in the chart or strong Neptun, which is a 8th superior of Venus, makes a person very beatiful with expecially beatiful eyes...mystic.
Beatiful is also Libra or a strong Venus.
Otherwise, I don't find Taurus beatiful. They are ruled by Venus, but we can't forget also the Moon in exaltation, which is much more ''particular'', but not really beatiful.
Also a strong Virgo generates beatiful traits, but colder kind of beauty.

Scorpio rising makes a person not so beautiful; or too small, or too fat, etc...but, it gives him/her a great carisma/magnetism. Have you ever falled in love with a person who is ougly but you couldn't understand why he/she is so attractive?

With Scorpio rising then Mars rules and the condition of that planet lends towars the physical image, same with all the rulers.
Venus is the planet of harmony and balance and if it is well aspected and particularly in the 1st house it gives a pleasant manner and appearance at the very least.

Aries has a muscular appearance, often thick reddish hair and prominent arched eyebrows sometimes with long eyelashs. This is general.

Taurus can have a softer rounder appearance, rather like a calf with big eyes, thick hair and sometimes with a cowlick and full lips. Sensual and earthy but can put on weight with indulgence.

Gemini is taller and slimmer as they often live on their nerves and rush about.. Have long eyes and often with a twinkle and a wide mouth that can be rather thin. this again is the stereotype that is modified by aspects and the ruler.

In my observations, I think the best looking rising signs are in this order: Sagittarius, Leo, Libra, Gemini, Scorpio, Virgo, Aries. As for the rest, they're not really beautiful looking to me. Earth rising (except for Virgo) is the ugliest looking (too plain) and water signs, with the exception of Scorpio, tend to have soft bodies which I think is not beautiful.

Do duads play any role in this?

Like a Leo rising may be "loud" in appearance with big hair, big eyes, bright eyed and bushy tailed but if it's in the Scorpio duad, would the person look more smoldering? Or if someone is dark and mysterious Scorpio rising but say it's in Gemini duad, would that person look more alert rather than smoldering?

Kim Kardashian is Sagittarius rising but in Taurus duad. I've always viewed her to exude Tauruean energy, and her face and body (although she's gotten surgery to look that way) look very Taurean and not a bit like Sagittarius.
