It's been 5 years and I'm still not over my college crush. His name is Steve and he is a Taurus sun/Pisces moon. No birth time so I'm not sure about his rising sign or house placements.

If you had to ask me who the love of my life was up to this point in life, I would say it was him even though we really haven't spent a decent amount of time together, never been on a date etc. We've just had a few college courses together and have had conversations here and there. I've only seen him a handful of times outside of school and we talked a bit and danced but nothing after that.

I've always been obsessed with him and I have no idea why I cannot get over him. I'm definitely attracted to him physically but also mentally. I've always been attracted to the fact that he is smart and got good grades in school. He is also a bit of a free spirit, definitely an outdoorsy guy and has a ton of friends and just seems like he loves life. I definitely admire his life and what he stands for.

I always feel insanely awkward around him, like I can't say a sentence that makes sense and I definitely feel nervous and insecure around him. I've always been painfully shy and I just wish that I had more confidence and could be able to keep my composure around him but that's just something that I cannot do.

Anyway... take a look at our synastry and composite chart and tell me what you think. In synastry his moon is conjunct my Sun/merc conjunction which is the best aspect that I can see but the same conjunction is in a tight sqaure with his Merc in Gemini. My Virgo ASC is in a pretty good trine with his sun which doesn't show on the chart. We also have Mars square saturn and venus square neptune so I'm sure there could never be a relationship here but still...obsessed.

In the composite we have Venus trine Saturn and Neptune which are good but also Venus is opposite Pluto and we have a load of unfavorable squares. Also, don't pay attention to his houses or the houses in the composite as his birth time is just a guess.

Thanks!

Sorry, not to much time to look at your chart, maybe tomorrow more but what strikes me right away is your Venus quincunx his Pluto. That's pretty obsessive by itself

Using whole sign houses, he triggers your 7th house (spouse) and 9th house (happiness/luck/meaning).

I got you this from a cool web site

Chantel's Sun Conjunct Steve's Moon
This is a beautiful mutual aspect, Chantel. It usually signifies an enduring close relationship and possibly marriage. You appreciate Steve's sensitive nature and find him desirable and attractive. He expresses his feeling for you openly and with true affection and this gives a boost to your ego and self-confidence. You feel good with Steve, enjoy his company, and appreciate the domestic comforts that he provides and his ever-present emotional support. You complement each other perfectly and this high level of compatibility is a definite aid to a mutually satisfying domestic, social, romantic and sexual relationship. You may feel that Steve is as close as you will ever come to the ideal partner.

Chantel's Mercury Conjunct Steve's Moon
This aspect, Chantel, is excellent for mutual communication and domestic co-operation. It is especially helpful in romantic or family relationships because it promotes harmony and agreement. You are able to understand Steve's emotional requirements and rationalise any domestic difficulties. In return, Steve respects your intellectual needs and provides you with support and encouragement.

Chantel's Sun Sextile Steve's Jupiter
This Chantel, is one of the best planetary blends for friendship, mutual give-and-take, unity of purpose, teamwork, mutual trust and general harmony. It suggests a long-term agreeable association and it is an excellent mutual aspect for marriage or close romantic relationships. Steve is kind, understanding and generous. He helps you to expand in areas of social, religious, psychological or business endeavour. Conversely, you put great energy into the relationship and inspire Steve with confidence and increased will-power. Foreign travel may be a feature.

Chantel's Sun Sextile Steve's Neptune
This is a helpful aspect, Chantel, because sensitivity, emotional harmony and intuitive bonding are associated with this pairing of planets. You will bolster Steve's emotional self-confidence and provide a creative link for his imagination. In turn Steve adds a refining, sensitive, artistic or spiritual quality to the relationship. It is probable that you have common social or spiritual aspirations.

Chantel's Mercury Sextile Steve's Jupiter
A high level of intellectual and cultural compatibility is promised by this pairing of planets. One thing is certain Chantel - Steve will have a positive and expansive effect on your mind. His company helps you to develop a more optimistic, refined and cultured intellect. Steve, on the other hand, should gain through your ability to formulate and structure his ideas and beliefs for social promotion or professional recognition. Mutual respect, humour, co-operation and good-will may eventually lead to a successful partnership. General good fortune is indicated and travel may be an additional feature.

Chantel's Mercury Sextile Steve's Neptune
With this combination, Chantel, it is likely that Steve will have a morally uplifting, soothing and introspective effect upon your mind. He brings you into contact with profound concepts of life that you find intellectually fascinating - meditation, religion, spiritual development, psychic phenomena and occult work are just some of the possible areas of mental diversion. Steve tends to value the emotional content of experience above the common-sense, logical approach. Therefore, he gains from the partnership through your ability to formulate and structure his ideas and beliefs for social acceptance, promotion or professional recognition.

Chantel's Venus Sextile Steve's Mercury
This is a helpful aspect, Chantel, because it suggests pleasant communications with Steve. You find him witty, amusing, attractive and socially acceptable. Likewise, Steve is fascinated by you and finds your emotional, artistic and social qualities mentally stimulating. It is probable that you share similar social and intellectual interests and have lots of friends in common. Mutual respect and kindness helps to minimise unpleasantness in your relationship.

Chantel's Uranus Sextile Steve's Moon
There is probably an emotionally-liberating and unusually refreshing quality about this relationship, Chantel. You certainly enjoy each other's company, sexual attraction is strong and a psychic, emotional or intuitive link is probable. Life should be exciting, full of sudden changes and unexpected surprises. Common interests may include astrology, metaphysics or New Age philosophy. If the relationship matures then this aspect will help to keep life interesting.

Chantel's Sun Square Steve's Mercury
This is an unhelpful aspect, Chantel, because it tends to break down co-operation in a relationship due to bad communications and general misunderstandings. You can be confused and often feel threatened by Steve's intellectual ideas. Likewise, Steve may regard you as arrogant, unreasonable and know-it-all.

Chantel's Moon Square Steve's Neptune
This is a deceptive and difficult aspect, Chantel. It is something like making love to Steve in shark infested waters - so wrapped up in each other you are blissfully unaware of the impending danger. And the danger inherent in this relationship is on the emotional and deeply subconscious levels of awareness. The deceptive, elusive and very subtle nature of this contact has hidden within it a neatly primed self-destruct button. The relationship may become a flight from reality, a mutual dream world where all the practical areas of life seem unimportant and trivial. Responsibilities are forgotten and friends and families are neglected. The inevitable result is financial, domestic social and possibly mutual psychological damage. The difficulty is complicated by the fact that the relationship does genuinely contain a transcendental quality but it is unbalanced and at odds with the real world where we all must strive to survive. Only those couples who are psychologically, spiritually and emotionally strong are able to cope with this type of psychic undercurrent. If many counter-balancing indicators are present then the effect of this aspect is reduced.

Chantel's Mercury Square Steve's Mercury
This mutual aspect, Chantel, suggests a conflict of ideas and mental outlooks. This is because Steve's intellectual approach to life is different to your own. You find it difficult to understand each other's point of view and this situation will lead to disagreements and the inevitable arguments. The difficulty of not being able to see eye-to-eye on important domestic issues will create stress in long-term close relationships.

Chantel's Mercury Square Steve's Neptune
From an intellectual point of view, Chantel, you find Steve interesting, artistic and idealist. However, in a close, long-term relationship, serious problems could develop because of differing moral and spiritual values. Eventually, you may come to feel mentally drained and confused in Steve's company. You may regard him as unrealistic, impractical, evasive, deceptive and living in a dream world. Conversely, Steve may regard you as critical, unimaginative, mentally stagnant and lacking true depth of thought.

Chantel's Venus Square Steve's Neptune
This square with Neptune is usually regarded as an unsuitable attachment based on illusion and fantasy. Your initial romantic attraction with Steve could eventually lead to disappointment - confusion, subtle deceptions and insincerity are just some of the factors that can destabilise your relationship. As a couple you lack practical commonsense and clear direction in life. You may come to regard Steve as unreliable, vague and deceptive, living with his head in the clouds. Conversely, Steve may view you as materialistic, self-indulgent and lacking spirituality. Evasion of responsibility, drugs or obsessive drinking may feature in the relationship.

Chantel's Pluto Square Steve's Mars
This is a difficult aspect, Chantel, because it indicates an intense and explosive relationship. It may even point to an illegal or otherwise dangerous association. You may have common enemies or some involvement with the police, underworld connections or subversive groups. It is not a good aspect for close romantic relationships because any attraction is probably linked to sexual desire rather than genuine love. It is probable, Chantel, that you will attempt to dominate, coerce or reform Steve in some way and this could lead to resentment and violent confrontation. Conflicts of ego are certain to occur because you tend to challenge each other in open warfare and you can both indulge in blatant physical or psychological harassment. Dangerous or unwise occult practices may be a feature.

] Chantel's Ascendant Square Steve's Mars
This aspect, Chantel, adds energy to your relationship and sexual attraction is indicated, though not necessarily romance. There is likely to be a degree of competition in the relationship that could lead to clashes of ego and loud disagreements. Occasionally, you will get on each other's nerves and you, Chantel, may feel threatened by Steve's aggressive and loud nature. Conversely, Steve may feel that you lack drive and initiative.

Chantel's Sun Trine Steve's Pluto
A dynamic link of personalities is indicated by this contact. You are particularly impressed by Steve's power of presence, his sexuality and his ability to transform your environment. He endows the relationship with strength and you feel that your combined powers of personality can deal with any situation - change the world even. It is probable that you become involved in a joint spiritual, metaphysical, political or scientific endeavour that involves the blending of your mutual powers.

Chantel's Moon Trine Steve's Mercury
Emotional and intellectual compatibility is highlighted by this aspect. You find it easy to discuss emotional and domestic problems with Steve who is objective, sympathetic and rational. Steve, on the other hand, enjoys expressing his ideas to you because he finds that you are emotionally responsive and generally supportive of his views. It is probable that you indulge in mutual educational or intellectual pastimes in the home. This is a nice aspect for close long-term relationships.

Chantel's Mercury Trine Steve's Pluto
With this combination, Chantel, it is likely that Steve will have a transformative effect upon your mind. He is likely to bring you into contact with revolutionary concepts of life that you find intellectually fascinating. This is an association that can irrevocably change your overall mental view of life - scientific work, spiritual development, depth psychology, occult work and life-after-death issues are just some of the possible areas of mental diversion. Steve, on the other hand, gains through your ability to formulate and structure his ideas and beliefs regarding social, political or domestic reform. As a couple you are probably involved in many self-improvement projects.

Chantel's Pluto Opposition Steve's Sun
This combination, Chantel, produces an intense, uncomfortable and volatile combination of energies - serious ego confrontations, mutual harassment and a struggle for power is indicated. At times Steve becomes infuriated by your coercive, aggressive and manipulative attempts to mould and dominate his personality, not to mention your unconventional sexual demands. Whereas you may view him as egocentric, selfish, weak, bossy, unco-operative, sexually inhibited and stuck-in-a-rut. Nevertheless, if these problems can be resolved a dynamic partnership can be formed capable of powerful work in politics, social reform or the occult field.

] Chantel's Ascendant Opposition Steve's Sun
An excellent mutual aspect, Chantel - sexual attraction, romance and possibly marriage is indicated. As a unit you tend to balance and complement each other's personality and self-awareness thus compensating for each other's imperfections. Some ego-conflict is possible but any disagreement is usually short-lived.

From first glance, his sun is in your 8th. This gives "I love you deeply and I cannot forget you, and may never love like this again" type of feeling.

I have successfully moved on to new love since my experience with this aspect.

A reason you may be so obsessed with him certainly relates to transiting Pluto squaring your Sun (self) and Mars (male, sex, etc.). We often like specific people because they have some powerful attribute/s which we wish to possess personally. But, what you are doing is holding on to the past and yet Pluto wants to transform you for the better. Let Pluto teach you how to develop power for yourself rather than to live vicariously through Steve. You have great power, too, but this needs to be uncovered and brought to the surface so that it can be functional and you can really shine. You may find that once your transformative period is over, having developed some of the qualities you like in Steve, he won't seem so attractive after all.

Pluto is powerful and so many experience Pluto's influence as negative which leads to resistance which may express itself in obsession rather than the opposite, which is letting go and surrendering to transformation. Pluto can be a difficult taskmaster but, as the chart holder, you have the power to make Pluto your ally. Do this by being intentional to let go of what Pluto is trying to take away. You'll open up your heart for personal transformation, Pluto will stop terrorizing and, instead, get to work on transforming. Of course, you need to be committed to facilitating this process in this season (i.e., no more cyber-stalking). This season of transformation won't be easy peasy lemon squeezy but, certainly, it will be worth it.

Steve may or may never become yours, there may be someone so much better and more suited in store for you. But, rather than obsessing about Steve, I recommend you get busy with personal growth and let that have it's perfect fruit. x x x
