I presented my business plan to my father’s connection for my start up and he even signed an NDA in 2022.

At first he acted really interested and said we will do this together and he would help me. A month later he started acting disinterested and was even asking me to ask another person to help me.

Fast forward a year later and I found out he copied my business plan to make his own company with two other men. One is a PHD professor with environmental patents and another is a CEO of a manufacturing company.

My father confronted him about copying me and he claimed it’s not the same which it isn’t yet, but it’s similar!

This year he joined an ESG leadership short course for CEOs at a top university and was elected chairman for their alumni year. He even submitted press releases in Korea about how he wants to contribute with everyone THROUGH him.

He has my detailed business plan that was supposed to help the UNSDGs as a non-profit and now I feel like he’s using it for his own fame seeking behaviour and greed.

He always wants to be seen as the CEO or chairman and I didn’t know he was like that at first because he acted so nice.

My father’s other connection said this man is all talk as he fell for the trap too where he hired him but he didn’t achieve any sales. I was also told this man did the said to another person who hired him and achieved no sales either. It sounds like this man is a con artist?

I’m asking horary, is he cheating me? I hope I’m just paranoid and he’s not using my detailed business plan as his own.

The traumatic experience from my family this year has given me trust issues and I looked back at these past few years to see that it’s not just my brother and his wife that cheated me, it’s also my father’s business connection who claimed “we are family.” I feel very foolish.

Then also to the UN, every major environmental organization in the world and a phonecall to miss Thunberg.
