Im guessing uranus in the 7th and with Gemini AC/sagi DC is really bad for longterm relationships.... So Im wondering if anyone knows if it may be possible to have a longterm relationship with this placement?

I had two "longterm" relationships lasting 2,5 years and the other 3 years. Im still a student so I understand that I couldnt quite settle down yet.... Im just curious about the future. If its possible at all?? Or may I just as well get 100 cats and live alone:D

Uranus is also singleton... Both my exes were Sun sagittarius, and both had Sagi AC, strangely enough. Do I need to find a strange person or something like that for it to work??

If the definition of longterm relationship is 2, 3 and 5 years, then yes - many long term relationship life time.

Otherwise Uranus in 7th usually means relationship without any responsibility and with freedom. Also they come across unusual partners, eccentric, genius, strange. In marriage, this is prone to divorce and in relationship, it is prone to breakup.

The best modifier of behavior of Uranus towards stability is influence of Saturn, also South Node to Uranus.

Ok, I see. So not looking so good then if 3 years is max.... I have saturn in the 6th, not so far from 7th house cusp, but wide orb of 6-8 degrees. Saturn is well aspected, sextile from venus/mars/moon in virgo.

Uranus is square mars, sextile sun (Only aspect to sun), and opposite chiron. And I get the feeling that the chiron opposition may be karmic somehow?

In my relationships it was me that left both times. But I felt they were not the right ones, and the relationship started abnormally fast and ended quickly too....

Uranus, as ruler of Aquarius, I'd say is fixed in nature. Aquarians do manage to have longterm relationships so it should be possible for uranian-challenged people to have them.

Extrapolating on that, my experience of Aquarians is that they're contrarian and controlling which is their way of maintaining their fixed view of life. You just have to give them their space, let them stomp off and not ask too much emotionally of them.

100 cats my God!!!!

Uranus can indicate that you will have relationships that need a lot of freedom and that friendship and sense of comradeship has to be of paramount importance. It can be an erratic influence with separations but it needs excitement, stimulation and a sense of informality to succeed. Living together rather than a legal partnership. Being part of a community or communal living.

You may not actually want a long term relationship but a serious of shorter ones that are committed such as serial monogamy.....

That is the quirkiness of Uranus/Aquarius in that it is fixed but air and contrary to the "Aqua" part which suggests water which is really giving of the waters to humanity..... They can be contrary and hard to pin down as they need to dance to the beat of their own particular drum and are not conventional in many ways, liking to upset the status quo of society's rules. They are the brother and sisterhood people who like group activities and can be brilliant with the sciences and technologies of the New Age. I agree that emotional intimacy is not their strong suit especially if Moon and Venus are in Aquarius or Uranus is connected. They are the like all and love none variety..

Uranus in the 7th can mean a partner is an astrologer or humanitarian or brillliant scientist that is slightly mad. hee hee.. This is the gypsy influence that is restless and needs lots of stimulation and excitement as well as movement.

So Im the Uranian one too?? :/ Thought the partner would be mad. But honestly it felt like I was the unstable uranian one in my past relationships to the sagittarians.... The last guy even had both mars and venus in aquarius, and he always told me he wanted a normal relationship, meaning I was kind of eccentric ofcourse:D

I also have Jupiter and Uranus in mutual reception by sign.

Without seeing your chart can't comment. But bear in mind that people often project their own issues onto others ...

For example, had my ex tell me that I wasn't prepared to compromise or change which she then followed with the comment that she knew what she liked in her life and needed to decide whether we were compatible ... (if you look carefully you'll see that actually she didn't want to change or compromise whereas I responded that I was willing to go do the things that she wanted).

I think you should perceive Uranus in the 7th as a difficulty and an obstacle that can be overcome of course. If you believe that you don't have a chance then your mind will be settled that way and it really will turn out to be that way since you won't put any effort in your relationship if you go by that mindset.

I do actually really want to change! And I think that the last 2 relationships started in immature ways, and didnt feel deep enough for me somehow. And thats the reason why they ended. I dont want to be a serial monogamist forever:(

I'm GemAsc/SagiDC with Uranus in my 7th house too!
My longest serious relationship was hmm... about 5 years I think.
My shortest serious relationship was 3-4 months???

My current relationship is with an Aquarian and I love it!!!!!!! But true to Uranus in the 7th, we were friends first for quite some time and during our relationship... well... we've never really been in the same country for more than 2 months! So we naturally give each other a lot of space LOL.

My Uranus has only two major aspects: trining Venus in the 11th house and conjuncting my part fortune.

And where is your jupiter? Ruler of sag DC.

My jupiter is in mutual reception in aquarius with uranus in sagi. So maybe the aquariuan/sagi theme would be enhanced? Jupiter in the 11th house of friends.... My ex was predominant sagitarius with venus/mars in aquarius. But I have mars/venus/moon in virgo. So it didnt really make sense. He had nearly no feminine signs, just fire and a little air

My jupiter is in its fall in Capricorn (8th house), though it is in its term. My partner has no planets or angles in any fire signs (except perhaps the MC depending on which house system you use). However, his part fortune and vertex are in Leo and Sag respectively. Actually his vertex in sag (5th house) is 2 degrees away from my part fortune (sag, 7th house).

His 7th house cusp is in Capricorn.

Ah, ok. I wonder why I only attract fire/sagittarius into my life... Could it be due to the uranus singleton in fire? Only planet in angular house and only planet in fire sign....It sounds kind of special (weird) that both my "longterm" boyfriends had Sun/mercury ASC ++ in sagittarius:/ One had moon in Aries and the other had Moon in Leo...

Very interesting! So you are attracted to charts with strong fire signatures, especially Sag-Asc!

Actually, where is mercury in your chart? I'm asking because Sag-Asc will mean Gem-DC... and perhaps what you are really attracted to is the Gem-DC?

In my case, when I started checking the charts of the people I am closest to (or have immediate attraction for), they tend to have a Cancer-Asc.
Perhaps what I was really attracted to was the Capricorn-DC!
Maybe it's related to having my 7th house ruler Jupiter in Capricorn, or maybe the Capricorn gives wild Uranus in Sag some kind of balance...?

Just wondering out loud :D

I have Uranus in the 7th... I can say that Long Distance relationship dont work for me, I would never be in a long Distance relationship...

I do need my space in relationships, I have to be able to come and go and do my own thing, I would not be able to handle a possessive man, that was constantly checking up on me...

I did have alot of "little" flings in my younger days. BUT YES I did eventually settle down, and get married... I was married for 11 years.. We were together for 12 years or so. Yes it did end, but it ended because of other circumstances call it fate. It didnt end because we said ok its over..
Even though we probably should of..
My ex husband Saturn conjunct my Asc.. I was stuck like glue, I found it very difficult to walk away from, nearly impossible.
Just for the record I was 100% faithful, I never cheated, and he gave me my space to come and go.. He put his trust in me...

Yes, I think I see a strong link here!

Even the ex and a guy Im into right now are born the same date and year. But dont know his DC though.... Usually it is Sag, but not quite sure.

I have gemini AC, and sag DC.

Im mostly attracted to water, but my Venus is in Water..

What I have noticed is I meet ALOT of Aqua Mars people.. Even majority of my female friends have aqua mars.. Which is opposite me Leo Mars..
Probably goes with my Uranus in the 7th..

My ex husband has Uranus conjunct Asc.. So he's also very Uranus. He had a Leo Mars

I would have thought you have to really take a holistic approach in looking at a particular configuration, like in this case Uranus in the 7th house. For example, you need to see if the sign in which Uranus finds itself, makes it strong or weak, what other planets (if any) are in aspect to Uranus, and how do these influence the Uranus energy? Are there other compensating factors in the horoscope working to weaken or strengthen the theme you see in Uranus in the 7th, etc.... Reductionism should be avoided...
