I would like to hear some opinions.
Thank you so much! It's strange. I was born with a very weak sense of self. It is only now, in my 30's that I am cultivating a more, firmer, sense of self! The ascendant is the beginning, the cusp, of the 1st house.
Regarding Aries and the 1st, my understanding is that the association of the signs with the houses, Aries 1st, Taurus 2nd, etc, is a modern, 20th century idea. So some astrologers from the Modern School think Aries is connected with the 1st, since it is the first of spring and new beginnings, like the 1st house is the beginning of our life. The problem is that Aries is connected with spring only in the northern hemisphere. [And this is without consideration of the phenomenon called Precession of the Equinoxes, which I won't go into here]
What I would say then is that yes you can associate that NN with the 1st house with complete confidence. Less so with the sign of Aries.
You are welcome.Thank you so much! It's strange. I was born with a very weak sense of self. It is only now, in my 30's that I am cultivating a more, firmer, sense of self!
Yes, finding the balance, the wide middle path, between what you inherently know/do and what you are called to realize in this life is the way!I also notice that people hate it when I'm overly sweet, or nice, like going towards my South Node conjunct my Descendant, too far, and people pleasing, too far. It feels 'off,' and feels 'imbalanced.' Almost like people can sense my many past lives of people pleasing, too much. It's a karmic imbalance. So, I have to learn how to honor myself, more, in this lifetime.
I think that we make friends more than we attract them?I also don't attract a lot of friends. It's an independence lifetime, I guess.
