Hi folks,
I went to a show Friday night for a comedian I absolutely have a crush on, and who I have dm-ed (he's responded, but doesn't follow me and my profile is totally private, so no way to know who I was at the show). He ended up talking to me throughout the show from the stage, only me, and it was flirty/sexual bantering. I felt chemistry and interest (an intensity in the questions he asked, even though they were in the form of a joke, and a total focus on me) and I had SO much fun and was very flattered. My friend goes to comedy a lot and she was like "I've never seen someone do crowdwork like this, he's clearly into you, talk to him after the show" etc. I was nervous, I thought the flirting might just be part of his show, and I pretty much always let men approach me, so I tried to leave without saying goodbye to him (and he was surrounded by girls!). He left his conversations with the girls and gave me a token and thanked me for coming but I was too nervous to talk to him much. My friend said dm him on instagram! What do you have to lose! So I felt like what the hell, why not--I told him the show was great and referenced a joke he made. His response was instant and polite, but not warm and not very engaged with me--a little cold, and didn't feel open to keep the conversation going. I can't tell if he knows I'm the girl he was talking to at the show, and re-reading the message I realize I didn't make it fully clear?
What I see here is late degree, an (unaspected!) void of course moon, and rulers of 1st, 5th, 7th all debilitated. Is the chart even worth reading? If I am ruled by Mars and he by Venus, we have an applying trine, and I receive him. He is in the 7th house, thinking about himself, I am on the IC (what does Mars on the IC mean?) If I am Mars and he is ruled by the Sun (5th), then we have an applying square and no reception (I think, I'm still learning), and he is in the unhappy 6th house. Do applications with reception mean something is going to happen, but late degree means it's out of my control? Can anything happen with a void of course moon and planets that are this debilitated?
I feel weird about the whole interaction! I'm like--did I make this up? Was he trying to sleep with me, or was he not into me at all? Did I miss something good because I was too shy to talk to him? I think I'm carrying regret for not approaching him without fear and just connecting--I felt a little overwhelmed by how much attraction I was feeling and also by how he seemed to want attention from me. Then the dm situation made me feel like he wasn't interested at all.
