Hi all,

I hope everyone is doing well. I miss this forum and everyone in it. Subsequently, I decided to ask everyone’s opinion, or anyone interested in chiming in on my chosen subject.

Jupiter in Gemini has always been a thorn in my side. I know it rules my 7th house but ironically that house in my chart is empty. However, for whatever reason, thinking 12 years back and even 24 years back I cannot help but wonder why some astrologers see it as a good transit. Somehow Jupiter can do no wrong. I’ve experienced this as enemies coming out of the woodwork more so than me forming lasting bonds with people. I don’t feel I’m looking forward to this cycle.

I am very interested in hearing what everyone has to say about their experiences or experiences they had with others going through the same transit.

Hope everyone is doing well. Love everyone here ❤🩷❤️🩷❤️

I've retrieved your birth data from a past post.
Jupiter rules your 1st house. Mercury rules your 7th house.

Jupiter can be a positive transit for some people it depends on many factors.
It depends on if you have a day or night chart as Jupiter is more benefic in a day chart. As you have a night chart, Jupiter does not necessarily (always) benefit you.
It depends on Jupiter's dignity, in your chart Jupiter has no dignity, so is Peregrine.
It depends on what house Jupiter rules in your chart, does Jupiter rule a malefic or benefic house? In your chart, Jupiter rules your Asc and the 4th house.
It depends on the house Jupiter is placed in. Is Jupiter placed in a malefic house 6th/8th/12th? Your Jupiter is placed in the 2nd house so neither good nor bad.
It depends on any antiscia's Jupiter falls on. Your Jupiter is conjunct Saturn's antiscia at 2°Aquarius which is an affliction.
It depends on aspects made to Jupiter, yours is afflicted by a square to Pluto.
It depends on any reception w/ another planet to help Jupiter. You have minor mixed reception w/ Venus your 11th ruler so when experiencing Jupiter difficulties you may have a friend who helps you out, but only in a small way.

So as you can see, whether Jupiter will bestow something great or unpleasant on you is determined by a variety of factors.

And Jupiter's transits are important for you this year having Jupiter as your time lord. On Oct 9th Jupiter will station Rx at 21°Gemini crossing your dsc and trine your 7th ruler Mercury, so it's possible around this time an ex could return. But w/ Jupiter in its detriment it could turn into a complete waste of time.

Well said, best explanation yet. I have one very good friend who helps me out occasionally. I’ve known him for 20 years, he’s the only one who sometimes lends me a helping hand. In general I do everything by myself, my friendship circle is big. However few are real friends and trust me I know the difference. And while everyone hails Jupiter, I side eye everyone because I feel like Saturn is more giving to me that Jupiter is. Yeah I said it, after almost killing me Saturn will throw me a bone here and there. Oh but not Jupiter, its bounty remains far from me. And oh I’m not talking love life because that area is a disaster. I mean in general, I feel like Jupiter exasperates issues and brings sleeping enemies out of the woodwork, occasionally of course not always. Sure, once in a while I get a bit of goodness but meh nothing too great to mention.

That was a very good explanation, thank you so much. As for the ex returning, I feel like I would say no anyway because I would rather visit the 7th circle of hell and back maybe a million times before I would consider any of them back. But I think I know who you mean, it’s probably a guy I’m seeing now who doesn’t want commitment and that I’m currently running away from. He just wants to use me I think, I’m not entirely sure about his motives there. I find it hard to understand people’s motives in general.

Look to the house in your chart where mercury is placed. That's where your Jupiterian abundance can be realized via its rulership of your 7th house. Some people will say that Jupiter in Gemini conjunct descendant is a con-artist indicator. Some will say that Jupiter on Descendant gives the native genuine optimism in there approach to agreements/commitments - "win win" outcomes. But as I suggested, look at the house where mercury is placed to see where Jupiter is most benefic in your life.

I have a similar thing, Jupiter Gemini conjunct the DC but from the 6th house (by 2° orb). Jupiter is my chart ruler.

7th house ruler is Mercury in fall in Pisces, but also creates a Mutual Reception with Jupiter in detriment in Gemini. Jupiter is the lesser benefic (night chart).

I am due for a Jupiter return/entering 7th house within the next six months. The last time it did that (2013) was when I became single after a long term relationship ended, which incidentally began in the previous Jupiter entering my 7th house, a full 12 years, so it came full circle! Since the last one, there have been relationships, but none of them committal. Let's see what happens this time around.

I do seem to draw in the same types, which really show up the Jupiter Gemini in 6th: all had diagnosed lung ailments like Asthma, COPD, pleurisy, all have been smokers (only one managed to quit!), and all have had some kind of mental health issue like anxiety or ADHD, or an alcohol/addiction issue, whether recovering or present (ruled by Mercury Pisces)
