I would like to know when the over heated housing market will crash or become normal again.

I am sure that we are all aware that world wide in large cities from Vancouver to Amsterdam, from New York to Madrid, there is a housing problem with sky high prices and difficulty to acquire.

I have nothing to do with housing. I follow the economy closely and politics. The housing market is a very important part of the economy and could have a huge influence if things go wrong, like the one in America 2008. So the question is a general one and is not personal.
