I've always believed in dreams as part of the spiritual side of life. The part that we leave behind when we appear here, but it's always there for us.
I honestly can't recall a time when I haven't thought this way, so I look forward to dreams and tend to pay particular attention to them even those
that may on first glance seem to be rather trivial I will ponder it over and over before discarding.
Since I have had a tough year of sorts lately, I've thought of my late mother a lot and wondered where she was. I haven't dreamed of her in some time that I could recall and told my husband the other day - wondering where she and our daughter are and said "perhaps they are busy and reincarnated".....
Today is somewhat memorable as it's my 76th birthday, and I've been ill this month. Not only that, but I fell the other day so I'm rather banged up with bruises.
We always exchange our dreams in the morning before we forget them .
As it turned out, he dreamed of 3 dead people.
1) our daughter who passed in 2008 - as a young girl, who was holding onto his back swimming, and they were having a great deal of fun I took that to be she is still with us
and letting him know she is still very much attached to him.
2) My mother who passed in 1998 knocked on this door where we now live. Since she died the year before we moved here I was delighted to hear this from him. He heard the knock, and seeing it was an older woman with bright clothes, opened the door and it was mom. She asked him, "Where is Deborah?" .....and came in.....end of dream. That DID lift my spirit.
3)The 3rd dream immediately thereafter was his friend from before I knew him. They were friends as teenagers and joined the Coast Guard from High School as teenagers together to avoid Vietnam, the Reserves. He died in his mid 60s. In the dream they were driving around in our old city, and it was very crowded. He said they were looking for me although I didn't know the boy. He pointed to this girl and that girl, and each one my husband said, "no that isn't her" and finally the crowd got too dense and it upset him he couldn't find me and he woke up. This is a very common dream in a way, him looking for me and can't find me in a dream. It's so common, we know it's based on fear alone.
Do you have recurring or spiritual dreams you'd like to share? When I get a chance I will very likely post a chart or two for the dreams of last night which was early January 9 th, about 6 A.M. and attach to this post -
