I know Pluto moved into Cap but since my 10H is intercepted with both Capricorn and Aquarius it’s still in the 10H.
Transit Pluto is conjunct my MC which seems fitting as lately I’ve been thinking of pursuing a completely new degree and field. It’s a big commitment both time and money wise so I’d like to know if this is a good time to pursue this.
For majority of this year until now I believed I wanted to pursue something else and tried to make myself like and believe I was making the right decision. I even was so close to applying to an expensive program but I had some health issues which delayed my application process. I didn’t end up applying. In that time I took a step back and realized I was putting my dreams and what I really wanted aside because it seemed out of reach.
However for the past week I’ve been thinking of pursuing the degree and career field I really want. Again it’s a big commitment both time and money wise - Is transit Pluto conjunct MC a good time to pursue this? Is the way I’m feeling and the delays I experienced with my health all a part of this plan to follow my path?

dear,
from what I understand you are interested in your career, your professional life.
So it would be good not to stay only from one transit.
You should also look at the other progressive systems to see what they are doing and if you are receiving positive influences. a pluto cannot tell you anything.

Pluto from where it is will definitely help you and give you strength because it makes a good aspect with your Venus, ruler of your ascendant, it will also give you a good recovery.
But it will, it has already started much earlier - trine with your Saturn, you will definitely have the strength and it will give you luck but also stability in your professional life. It will help you fulfill your professional plans and goals.
But you are already showing us this through what you are telling us. You are making plans for your career and your future. Keep doing them.
See also the other prediction systems. e.g. solar return, progressed moon, etc. etc.

i dint think you understand interception. its not when two signs share a house. its when one complete sign is encapsulated into the house and does not have any boundary access open. then its termed intercepted as it is as if its captured and unable to find expression. typically progression ends this. typically i dont think it applies to human natal charts as we never lose our free will except when we ourselves chose to trade it in for our own reason and then we give up our free will and become automatons …for our own reason. mostly its then a defining life of service to another where we come to help someone by selflessly serving them.

pluto will give you opportunities to strengthen and improve or reshape your career …if there is one because a humdrum job is not a career….but unless a contact is made to a personal planet, its just a soft knock of an opportunity you can chose to ignore and turn a blind eye to and may not even hear with all the ‘noise’ of the daily grind.

What if transit Pluto is also squaring my natal sun, natal mercury and natal ascendant?

Pluto is long past your MH; did anything significant happen when it was conjunct? Did you change your career?
It is in a direct square with your Sun, Mercury. You can expect power issues at this time. You will either abuse your power on others or vice versa. It's a good opportunity to adopt a spiritual or philosophical attitude to get you through this hard time. Pluto adverse aspects are the hardest but they can bring changes that will greatly benefit you in the end. Pluto takes away what is needed for you to move forward. Change is always difficult. I haven't read the whole thread, don't have time so I may be repeating what others have posted. You can consider yourself lucky in many ways as the majority of people will never get to experience Pluto in their 10TH as it takes so long to traverse the natal map.
You already went through the most horrible Pluto square your natal Moon which can be absolutely horrific. You survived that.

When I look at my transit chart it shows transit Pluto is conjunct my natal midheaven currently. But so far with these Pluto squares, I experienced an unplanned pregnancy with someone who treated me horribly and still does. I’m sure that has to do somehow with Pluto square my natal moon. My child’s father continues with his attacks so perhaps this is Pluto square my natal sun as well. Ultimately these ordeals have required me to completely erase this person from my life which I didn’t think I could ever do. Last year and this year have been incredibly painful and the most life changing in an external and internal aspect. Thanks!

Your Pluto is at 20 D Capricorn, Pluto is currently at 0D Aquarius. A 10 D ORB could be acceptable if it was approaching your MC but, in your case, it is well past + no longer valid or active. The moment has long passed when Pluto was conjunct. Your unplanned pregnancy is a very direct result of the Pluto Moon square you experienced. It is truly one of the most horrific aspects + it's terrible that you were + are being treated so badly.
You will likely take the time to no longer accept this abusive behavior from your partner. You are over the worst of that transit but the Pluto Sun Mercury adversity will continue for a while yet. Power issues. Try to back down when you can even if you are in the right because these men (Sun represents masculinity) will have a need to control you + hold their power. You have equally good aspects which will balance it all out. When the transit is finally completed, you will feel like a new person, ready to take on the world. It's a tough time but you already sent the child's father packing which is a very positive yet strong move. Keep moving forward.

I'm sorry to hear about the painful occurrences. Not only because I am sympathetic, but also because I also have my Sun square my MC, and right now transit Pluto is conjunct my MC @ 1 Aquarius.

I guess I should brace myself for some difficulties? I won't be getting pregnant at my age and don't have an ex-husband. But I don't have it squaring my natal Moon, so that is lucky for me.

I do worry about my 93 yr old mother as the MC can represent ancestors/parental figures.

And I do worry about health issues popping up as my Sun is in natal 6th while it is being squared by Pluto. Since it is just 1 Aquarius squaring ! Degree Scorpio Sun it might be the beginning of a health issue and I can get it under control?

pluto sq mercury and sun will create intense need for inner purpose to be reflected in your life. its change through difficulties and destruction, pluto to mercury will result in intense worries or pressures. pluto sun will result in need to conform to your direct cultural environment. by culture here given its in the 10th i would refer to your career environment and the corporate culture surrounding you which is opposed to your personal needs. it could also be family standing in your way of growth. or a move away from family. or a relationship causing huge change.

in short, some scapegoat will be the cause. the cause will result in huge drama. the result will be a changed life.

during pluto sq we suddenly get driven by deep inner persuasions that may run contrary to our own immediate good. we become driven monsters and self sabotage for who knows what reason. when we look back some years later, we see we were in a fit of some kind, disturbed our own pathway…but somehow with all the drama and destruction we created to ourselves, we gained new growth and new purpose.

expect drama and destruction resulting in change…and sleepless nights of worry.

make sure diet has extra vit b and magnesium.
