I ask the question about my son. He has left his job here and he is moving to another town to work there. He is an actor, he will sign his papers on Monday, but with Mercury rx, I don't think it's a very good timing! Needless to say that it is his dream job, he has studied his art for 5 years and is looking forward to do it on professional level. At first, I did not like the idea of leaving his (good paying) job here, but of course he is an adult, it is what he wants, his life, what he has studied, so there is nothing for me to do, but support his choice.

I wonder if his performances there will be successful. I definitely don't want him heart broken. It would be really disappointing.

He is Venus, his career is represented by the Moon. The Moon will sextile Venus and trine his MC cusp. Moon is out of Via Combusta.
It's a night chart, Moon is in Fall and Venus' term and face. Venus is in Moon's triplicity, but peregrine.
Although there is an applying aspect and both the Moon and Venus are free from affliction, their condition is not great and their reception is so and so, it is mixed too, but of course, it is better than no reception at all.

What do you make out of this? I think it is a mediocre success.
It is a Venus day and Sun hour. I think it makes sense, as he is represented by Venus and it is a creative job.

Hi Iris
is this your first child or your second??

My first. Does it make a difference?
thank you
yes I ask to get the right planets
Venus is in a Saturn space, which shows the seriousness and stubbornness he has, but also the ambition for his career.
Venus in the 4th derivative house also shows us the change of his residence. he has a Mutual mixed reception with this Saturn in the 6th derivative house (his work). Saturn in the sign of Pisces (artistically) and in the exaltation of Venus (your son). This is a very good indication.
I like the North Node in his 6th derivative house and the part of Fortune in his 10th house.

Let me ask: will he settle down where he goes? Will he stay with someone else?? However, it seems that he receives help from his friendly environment from someone... he is very close to him

Wow!o_O
Spectacular! Thanks a million, you got it 100%right.
You are correct, he will stay at a friend's house for some while! 👌 I cannot tell for how long. He will be there for about 6 months, then he will return back home and continue with another play.

Do you mean that if I ask a question about my 2nd child, I should take the ruler of the 7th house? I have always used the 5th house ruler for both with the distinction given in my head the moment I ask the question. I am asking, because Horary is not what I am good at. I am still learning..
Thank you again! 😊

hi Iris
thanks for your answer.
regarding what you asked me:
"Do you mean that if I ask a question about my 2nd child, I should take the ruler of the 7th house?"
I always ask because I might need to make some distinction. But looking only at the 5th house is not necessarily wrong. As everyone can and does work on it.

Thanks, Sunrise!:)
This is what I have seen that Astrologers work with the 5th house, when it comes to children without asking whether the child is the 1st, 2nd etc. However, I have read that in traditional Astrology the 2nd child is represented with the 7th house, like the 2nd marriage with the 9th- and their rulers-. I am not sure how you make the "distinction", I gather that in case there is a 2nd lord in the house, you use the one according to the child's sex and Masculine/feminine sign? Or the 2nd lord for the 2nd child? Not sure what you mean.

Iris, right, as you write it.
first child= 5th, second=7th etc.
no I don't do it to see the gender (child's sex )

However, this is not necessary. Not everyone does this. They take the 5th house straight away. So they work this way and it's okay.
:)Whatever suits each person.
