Anybody was old enough to remember what Pluto in being in Libra was like? What do you think Pluto Aquarius will bring when it comes to relationships?

I'm a gen z ( Pluto in Sagittarius ) but I'm obsessed with the 70s ( the songs, summer of love, and the beauty!) that were some themes inbthe pluto in Libra tike period I often romanticize over it. I have my 2 house in Libra. My Venus in there, but I have a 5 th house Aquarius ( Libra rising) I'm curious even though both signs are air they mean and represent two different things lol. How do you think Pluto in Aquarius will change how we view relationships/ marriages?? How will the dynamic between women and men more than likely start playing out? Theres so much talk about hypergamy, staying single, and monogamy, but I'll have to say certain things talked about on the Internet I haven't seen plan out around me in my environment

summer of love
...was 1967, not in the 70s.
The transit of one planet in isolation will not produce much. It will depend on each person's individual chart and the aspects Pluto makes to the various chart elements.
Also remember transits are the last, quickest passing and weakest elements in the chain of astrological influences, and by themselves not terribly influential. Only taken in combination with various types of progressions, which transits trigger, do they produce effects.

I came of age when Pluto was in Libra. During it passage through Libra it opposed (shown its full energy on) my natal Mercury, my natal Moon, and my natal Venus. Between its opposing my natal Mercury and natal Moon it conjoined my Lunar North Node.

It was a time of intense intellectual growth and ferment, mostly through books, music, and drugs.

Books and music are things of Libra, but with Aquarius you could probably be expecting computer programs and AI. Alas, I consider the upcoming generation to be shortchanged indeed.

Libra is more love relationships. Aquarius is more clubs and/or friendships! I suppose that Pluto in Aquarius will transformation to social media and/or friendships!
That's why I was thinking, but do you think people will break out of this whole "anti social" thing??? I would hate to think it would all come down to people just staying in social media.

The whole 'anti-social' thing probably was during the 2020/2021 Pandemic? I guess people have a hard time changing back their routines! I feel like, with the whole dating scene (I'm talking mostly about America) going south has played a role in people not wanting to go out as much (LOL).

I see two situations happening. Either by the end of Pluto in Capricorn (November/December of 2024), we start coming out of our hermit modes, because Capricorn can be a very hermetic and/or introverted side. Or, situation 2, Pluto in Aquarius will totally kill (Aquarius) social interactions because of 1. The political divisive vibes going on in America, right now. Are you from America? 2. People are tired of being criticized, with the whole 'Cancel Culture' thing going on, so they will isolate themselves, even more. And 3., the continuance of the aftereffects of Covid-19 lags longer than I thought (longer than Pluto leaving Capricorn, in November of 2024).

The negative side of Pluto in Aquarius is that it might kill social interactions (Aquarius). The positive side of Pluto in Aquarius is that it might transform (Pluto) our ideas of social interactions (Aquarius).

If you're asking people who lived through the Pluto in Libra era about their personal experiences of relationships during the different Pluto sign eras, that correlates more with how old they were during those eras than with where Pluto was. Anyone who was in their teens to thirties then is in their fifties to eighties now. Of course they'll have a different experience of relationships this much later in life.

I was born during the Pluto in Libra era. I was nine years old when Pluto settled into Scorpio. I had no personal experience of adult relationships during the Pluto in Libra era, though I was alive then. My social relationships were peers, friends, classmates. During Pluto in Aquarius I'm going through later middle age. It's an apples to oranges comparison.

What I was aware of about adult relationships during that time was that lots of people got divorced. My parents didn't, but many of my friends' parents did. So many people my age were children of divorce that it really impacted how my generation as a whole views marriage.

Where we can see Pluto's influence (and Neptune's, which tag teams Pluto) is in the zeitgeist of different eras. How does each generation do relationships? What are the paradigms? What does pop culture from those different eras reflect?

I was a 10 yr old schoolgirl in 1971 when Pluto entered Libra. Probably my first retrolection of that period is when Title IX was put into place.
Prior to Title IX, girls were required to wear dress or skirt to school. When IX came around - we were able to wear jeans or trousers to school.

Pluto in 1st house, libra ruling 3rd with jupiter (9th ruler) located there.
Pluto in libra was a period of intense learning about relationships, including the way other countries viewed them, new values and traditions.
It made a very strong impact on my development.
When pluto libra neared the end of the sign it hit my IC and I changed countries, although at the time I didn't realise it was a permanent change.
Pluto uproots to eliminate the excess and replace it with the essential.
Whatever Pluto in Aquarius brings us, it will not always hit us in the face so we wake up one morning different in some way.
It will tend to begin a process. It can be gradual, soft or very abrupt, depending on our natal aspects, as FraterAC wrote.
We become aware of the change only with the passage of time (Aquarius is the home of saturn) and by introspection can we identify the changes it brought about.
Associations, friendships, organisations, and the matters of whichever house is occupied by Aquarius in our natal chart.
Life is a series of changes, maturation and realisation with consequent shifts in our values and viewpoints.
But we don't always recognise it.
It is not to be feared, though. It is just part of life.
The sun rises and the sun sets, and pluto changes to make way for the new, one sign at a time.

That's some heavy generational stuff going on there. Wow.

I am Capricorn, ascendant Leo, moon in Libra
Pluto is in 5th house in Sagittarius, will Pluto in Aquarius bring me relief, because Pluto in Capricorn was very very hard for me, I am exhausted… or another round of hard years are following because of Ascendant Leo?
Please help 🙏

Did you have health problems with pluto in 6th? Or work issues?
That uranus will make itself heard when pluto passes over. You should have begun to feel it recently, before pluto started its retrograde backtracking.
You actually have an enormous advantage with moon in trine to all those planets lined up and waiting for pluto.
Moon in libra wants balance and fairness, and mentally, as well as in your way of speaking, it will help keep balance within your uranus/mars/mercury conjunction. Less sharpness, nervousness, egoism. It wants to watch out for others, seeing their side of things.
Pluto wants to ruffle your feathers, it wants to shake up the branches so dead leaves fall off, and leave room for new ones to sprout.
And libra moon will say OK accepting it, but gently does it.
By reflection, you might also find yourself changing your appearance in some way, that could be something as simple as a white stripe in your hair, to something more exotic and noticeable.
It will be a while before it actually touches your ascendent. In December it will only reach uranus.
One planet at a time, step by step.

I had a health problems a month/two ago, now it is okay, also I had/have a work issues but seems everything will be alright too.
So you got through that one.

I am experiencing the case of changing appearance, I changed my hairstyle, bought more classic clothes…
Good for you. You'll want to keep doing that.

die and born again
This is pluto in a nutshell. this is what it asks of us.
Do it through change. Not for real!

I am very nervous, desperate, lonely these days, I won’t be able to live this way anymore, life for me is hard, really hard…
I am experiencing the case of changing appearance, I changed my hairstyle, bought more classic clothes…
I just want to die and born again with different life, honestly I am done…

What about love life? Is it staying unchanged? Will I ever found someone? Honestly I am so desperate because of that, nobody wants to be alone forever like me

At the end of Libra , Pluto was conjunct Saturn which at the IC would have shown the establishment of a new cultural perspective; a beautiful example of new cultural relationship.
Libra is also beauty, as well as relationships.

Pluto in 5th, scorpio on the cusp, with mars near 7th. Are you an artist?
