Wow, I like this, JUPITERASC! I do agree, we're still in Pisces. But, we can see some small signs, already, of Aquarius, sinking it.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Age of Aquarius doesn't start until about 2150.

as earth travels in its orbit
the duration of seasons is dependent on the eccentricity of the orbit

When the orbital eccentricity is extreme
the seasons that occur on the far side of the orbit
are substantially longer in duration.

In addition to axial precession
there's the axial tilt aka the angle the earths rotational axis makes with its orbital plane

It is CURRENTLY about 23.4 degrees
and
is declining
This tilt varies
from 22.1 degrees
to
24.5 degrees

IT MAKES ONE COMPLETE TILT
AND BACK
every 41,000 years
and
this change in tilt is DIRECTLY RELATED TO ICE AGES ON EARTH
the last maxumum tilt occurred in 8700 BC
and

the next minimal tilt will happen in 11800AD
FOR ANYONE INTERESTED

the precession of the equinoxes is caused
primarily by gravitational forces of the sun and the moon acting on the earth

While the axial tilt is the primary cause of seasons on the earth
the distance from the sun - changes throughout the year
and
the elliptical shape of earths orbit
contributes a small bit of temperature variation throughout the year as well

In addition the gravitational effects of other planets
cause the ellipse of all orbits
to slowly spin around the sun

It takes about 112,000 years for the ellipse to revolve once - relative to fixed stars
and so
WHEN CONSIDERED TOGETHER - the two forms of precession ADD

and
it takes about 21,000 years for THE SOLSTICE to go from Aphelion to Aphelion
- the dates of the perihelion and the aphelion advance each year on this cycle
at an average of one day per 58 years

Because of the slow change
in planet Earths orientation to the stars

the position of the Sun on the first the day of spring
aka the vernal equinox
slowly shifts westward around the sky :)
which also moves it around our calendar.

That is why we refer to the effect as the precession of the equinoxes

over thousands of years
the eccentricity of earths orbit varies
as a result of gravitional traction among the planets
PRIMARILY JUPITER AND SATURN
and
the orbital eccentriciy cycles with a period of roughly 100,000 years
and
as the eccentricity of the orbit revolves
the semi-orbital axis of the orbital route remains unchanged

so the length of the sidereal year remains unchanged

*

The INCLINATION of Earths orbit
drifts up and down relative to the present orbit
with a CYCLE having a PERIOD of about 70,000 years
and
the orbit often used relative to the orbits of other planets as well
by calculating the plane of unchanged total angular momentum of the solar system
we can define the orbital plane of the invariable plane
- IT IS APPROXIMATELY THE ORBITAL PLANE OF JUPITER

The INCLINATION of the earths ORBIT has a 100,000 year CYCLE relative to the INVARIABLE PLANE

This 100,000 year CYCLE CLOSELY MATCHES THE PATTERN OF ICE AGES

THE HISTORICAL ALIGNMENT OF THE TWO ZODIACS
Historically, it's generally agreed, that the two zodiacs WERE in alignment with one another
with BOTH sidereal AND tropical ephemeris' listing the passage of the Sun into Aries at the Spring equinox.

about the year 285 A.D.

But

The deal with sidereal
The Sidereal Zodiac recognises an apparent backward movement of fixed stars
of about 1 degree every 72 years as you digressed aka mentioned

and so
there is CURRENTLY a 24 degree gap between the tropical and sidereal systems
making them currently roughly an entire zodiac sign apart
AND
as they continue drifting apart
they won't re- align
with BOTH sidereal AND tropical ephemeris' listing the passage of the Sun into Aries at the Spring equinox.
for another approximately TWENTY-SIX THOUSAND YEARS
which is when the SIDEREAL
passage of the Sun returns to Aries at the Spring equinox. :)
