What causes Precession, could it be a Binary Sun?

Standard modern astronomers theorize that Precession, both the well-known Precession of the Equinox, and the lesser-known Precession of the Earth's Perihelion, are caused by the Lunar-Solar gravitational effect on Earth's less-than-smooth-surface.

But there's another theory to explore - that our Sun has an as yet undetected companion-star, causing the Precession which results in astrolgical Ages. That would mean a Binary solar system!

For the top URL link, after you hit it, it says "Page Not Found", but there's a search bar - type the word "Sirius" in the search bar, enter that, and it will take you to the article about "our two Sun solar system".

This one takes you directly to another interesting article -
Two interesting articles about Sirius.
