There is a wide variety of information on the subject of what could contribute to or trigger autism in a certain number of individuals based on astrological data and their natal chart.

In Vedic astrology, Moon signifies mind and Mercury stands for logic and intellect. Jupiter is seen for maturity and wisdom. If these three planets are afflicted in the horoscope, chances of mental illness may increase. Does it mean the part of autism (or mental disorders) involves ones' natal Moon plus Mercury minus Jupiter?

Looking at my natal chart (and my own autism disorder experiences): Moon: 20' 17" Aquarius (8th) + Mercury: 13' 49" Pisces (9th) - Jupiter: 6' 0" Virgo (3rd) = 28' 49" Leo (2nd).

That's conjunct True Node 29' Leo opposite my natal sun 26' Aquarius. Planetary alignments or astrological influences in a natal chart could predict the cause of my autism diagnosis.

Or Ascendant 17' 33" Cancer + Moon: 20' 17' Aquarius (8th) - Mercury: 13' 49" Pisces (9th) = 24' 1" Gemini (12th, a malefic but Juno con ASC house) determines a mental disorder.

Or The fifth house of the horoscope has a special role to play in judging mental disorders. This house signifies fascination, thinking and logic. Affliction to the fifth house and the fifth lord may indicate problems with respect to logic or thinking process of the mind. (My natal Uranus in 5th under Scorpio's influence squares the fifth lord, the sun).

I think that an over-amped mercury and/or afflictions from mars likely play a role in this condition.

Jupiter conjunct Mars in Virgo in 3rd for me (explains my condition), you believe a Mars-Jupiter conjunction connection opposite Mercury is a contributing factor on being born with autism or autistic spectrum disorder (and Saturn+Lilith is closer to Mars than Jupiter, a stellar trio alright).

And 13' Pisces is Mercury's fall (a malefic degree for anyone to have). I have experienced some anxiety and mild depression since my (pre) teens to accelerated in my early adult years (could it come from the 1990-2012 period of Mercury in retrograde on the progressed chart). It was in 13' Pisces in 2002 after I already turned 21 and is expected to be there again in 2 years (2024).

I noticed a trend towards saturn-sun influences. Aspects between saturn and sun or sun in saturn's signs.

I have mercury square moon as well

My part of autism is like this:
Part of Autism = :moon: + :mercury: - :jupiter: = 20°04'10":libra: + 8°09'53":capricorn: - 22°32'18":aquarius: = 200°04'10" + 278°09'53" - 322°32'18" = 478°14'03" - 322°32'18" = 156°14'03" - 32'18" = 155°63'63" - 32'18" = 155'41'45" = 5°41'45":virgo:, and this part trines my Mercury-Pluto midpoint with an orb below a degree, and I have autism misdiagnosed as intellectual disability. It also conjuncts my Part of Father in 5°47':virgo:, so my father possibly have autism, and he actually has a special interest (Engineering), and he also love fixing things since he was young...
