It's been admitted repeatedly, and there is no argument against it (except in Kremlin propaganda), by Putin himself, that his wildest weird dream is to put the Soviet Union (or better still the Russian Empire) together again. For that reason, he has invaded and tried to annex Ukraine in 2014 and 2022. A campaign of imperialist aggression, totally unprovoked militarily, by Ukraine or the West.

And say, US intervenes in Mexico and Russian soldiers start to fire missiles from Mexico into US territory, you think US would not be pissed at Russia in that case?
