What's behind the unrest in the UK? (and in Bangladesh)

Things are troubled in the UK for all sorts of reasons, I know.

There was a new moon in Leo today, but where would you see unrest like that from that?

Nor normally would an applying Mars/Jupiter conjunction hint at this.....

There are no aspects like Mars/Uranus, nothing nasty involving Pluto, though someone a while bacbk said there is a longstanding square between Pluto m and Huamei.

Astrologically what am I missing?

Since the riots aren't going on everywhere, I suggest looking at transits or progressions to whatever "birth" chart you prefer for the UK and Bangla Desh. (See John Thompsons's thread on the American presidency and the Edgar coronation chart.)

This is a chart where after the British agreed to create the Irish Free State, the northern provinces wrote to the King requesting to stay under British rule. The timing of this request dates to 7th December 1922 @15:28 GMT. Personally I set this for Westminster, where decisions are made, but can be set for Belfast. Uranus squares the ASC where Mars has just been transiting. The secondary progressions are also incredible at this time. Wish I had a window to give you more, but hopefully I'll get time in future.

I just looked at transits to the inauguration chart because that was what was available right in front of me. But even when looking at progressions I would always look at the natal or mundane chart first, as the backdrop.

I would like to see the progressions. They must be pretty volatile. I do think the transit of Uranus squaring the Mars in Aquarius and opposing Venus in Scorpio is pretty volatile as well, as the back drop.

In the main series of charts that has overseen the development of the British Isles, it's easy to see in all. I believe that each can be used but generally the 1801 chart is used as the main pointer to our political life. Uranus and Neptune are the main players in all political parties in this country, and in 1801 we the progressed Sun at the antiscion of natal Mars and square natal Neptune, with transit Neptune opposite progressed Uranus. In the 1066 map, the progressed ASC is now applying to the natal DESC [applying within 27 minutes]. Transit Uranus is hovering around natal Neptune, transit Neptune is conjunct natal Moon and square natal Uranus, progressed MC is at antiscion of progressed Neptune. After the Norman invasion in 1066, British culture changed dramatically as did the relationship between monarchy and the people; in many ways this chart signifies the character of the British. With the 1689 chart of constitutional monarchy transit Pluto sits right on the MC Uranus in this chart = Neptune of 1066, the Moon = 1066 ASC.
