Arguing that they are "free thinkers" yet they have literally parroted word for word verbatim, what hundreds of other social media addicts are saying!

I don't need to go into the rampant manipulation and propaganda that mainstream news shovels down our throats everyday. We all know that. The "breaking news" every 10 minutes, and "live" feeds, are purposely designed to keep you on a constant state of alert, and therefore a constant state of fear, anxiety, anger, outrage, so you try to alleviate that by waiting for the updates. But they get replaced by other breaking news, so the cycle starts all over again.

But let's not pretend that Social Media is a paragon of virtue that has your best interests at heart by telling you "the real story". They are only pushing similar but opposing narratives and propaganda. Many of the social media influencers have sponsors, donors, and other financial backers to promote their garbage, and are only interested in self promotion, and they rely on you the viewer to share their articles or status updates to everyone else.

I didn't know that Neptune was making any specific transits like the one you mentioned, but the blindness to reason certainly does look to be a Neptunian thing. An old friend of mine started getting into the flat earth thing, he used to be on the far left, now he supports Trump.

My main caveat is that as it is electronic media, there is a Uranian component too. And communication in general still has something to do with Mercury, above all.

Also, remember there is a lot of big money wrapped up in the dissemination of deliberate misinformation. Big money literally spells the other possible major player in all this - Pluto. Apparently the very word itself has its origin in the idea of an ammassmrnt of wealth - and power. It also smacks to me of Neptune/Pluto. Many people think the long-standing sextile between these planets helped to stabilise things during the cold war. Bit it might be worth seeing if there are any slow midpoints operating between these currently..

It may feed into a kind of narcissism. Only we know what is really going on, while everyone else has the blinders on. We don't because we have been granted special insight the masses aren't privy to.

When was the last time Neptune was in Aries? If anything I think it could feed I to more narcissism. One astrologer I envoi tered certainly thought that Eris in Aries contributes mightily to the self absorption getting into social media might bring..

I was in the UK briefly over the weekend, and it was a disturbing feeling somehow. There is a constant harping on about how all services in place are designed to help and to maximalise, but there is a huge amount of guilt tripping around all this, and the iron fist, made up of rigid exhortations to mind your p's and q's or else, no matter how unhelpful and circular the advice around is, is also very present.

I was in Plymouth. Things went into lockdown after 4. We got everything we needed to get done before that, and didn't need to get close to the main troublespots though.

Personally, I think so. New plans for immigrant refugees that, with Saturn, may hopefully curb the influx in all countries that have had to deal with its force since Neptune moved through Pisces. Hi Chrysalis. When you say that the 1066 map may be more telling, I would say that you may wish to look at the whole sequence of British/English charts. The base chart for these inceptions is the crowning of King Edgar on 11th May 0973 at Noon in Bath. Every time Uranus sits on the MC, Sun, Mars, Mercury of this chart it causes multiple severe problems Add the chart for the Glorious Revolution of 1689 and that of the formation of the United Kingdom of Great Britain in 1922, and these issues can be seen in all; secondary progressions in this sequence of charts are very telling and accurately portray these current [and historical] events.

I hate that, as I converted together with her, but I woke up in autumn of 2022 and went to radical progressive Christianity. I never believe in Young Earth Creationism at all, as I have always been a science lover. I think your mother is one of many many many stories I've witnessed myself, the worst one is witnessing a very normal, moderate, really mellow and easy going person turn into a raving flat earth fanatic! Started off innocently enough, chemtrails, the Moon landings being faked etc, then went seriously South a couple years later, around 2018-2019.

Pisces can symbolise slumber and sleep, as a metaphor, it seems the Neptunian influences have really had people asleep at the wheel.

Aries is the beginning, the dawn, when we rouse from slumber, and start the day afresh.

I think everyone generally questions the propaganda from the mainstream media, I don't know anyone who buys into the news and believes it's true. It's almost a given now (for good reason of course).

However, there is far less scrutiny over social media news. As people don't trust the mainstream news, they seek the "truth" in other sources, such as X (Twitter), or Q-Anon, or Tiktok, etc and place their trust and faith in social media influencers.

Who unfortunately have the exact same agenda as those who run/own the mainstream media! Probably even worse, as it's unregulated, they can endorse and publish whatever they like with wild abandon. They know how to capitalise on fear, uncertainty, and outrage. Accuracy is the last thing on their agenda (just like the mainstream news), as long as they get the click revenue.

Once people start treating social media news with the exact same scepticism, disdain, and distrust as the mainstream, then we "may" get somewhere. I've yet to talk to one person in real life who avidly follows social media news, that thinks it's as BS as the mainstream media news.

Let's hope Neptune Aries delivers there and hits the unsubscribe button!

I think that's the thing that's been very overlooked, even ignored altogether by astrologers.

We've been so hyper focused on "Taurus being about money, resources, and finances" - for good reason, given that financially life has been very turbulent and unstable.

But Uranus ruling technology, and in a sign ruled by Venus, the planet of social connectivity (hence online and virtual connectivity to others), relating, what appeals, what becomes popular and trending.

Uranus is in its fall in Taurus too (exalted in Scorpio).

I'm sorry Humanitarian, but I must take you to task when you say that 'Taurus rules mundane matters'. The word 'mundane' means of the world, from this we get Mappa Mundi [map of the world], or Anima Mundi [soul of the world]. Taurus is a fixed earth sign; hardly worldly. In the mundane world it may try to keep the status quo going, but it does not rule mundane matters. In terms of the world, Sagittarius is far more active, as is Aquarius in terms of societal issues. Politics in general comes under Capricorn, but nowhere do I see a Venus ruled sign to be a significator of mundane affairs.
In fact, the thing about mundane astrology is that all planets and all signs have their corelations. Taurus has sway over finance, and Uranus free market economies, put the two together!
