It's a South Node solar eclipse, so something or someone may even be eclipsed out. Will it be Starmer himself that is eclipsed out. Maybe not, he's far too new on the scene, so it doesn't fit in with South Node themes.
Maybe some long standing laws, policies, justice systems, some of the current legal systems (especially old laws that have served their purpose - South Node) being eclipsed out? 9th house ruler, Mercury Libra conjunct the Eclipse, so quite likely.
It may not be received well, or there may be a backlash, given the Eclipse squares the Cancer Moon (public). The ruler of the Eclipse, Venus is in detriment in Scorpio, so it may even be perceived as ruthless.
And here we are. Starmer has today announced that the Autumn Budget will be "painful" and with some very unpopular choices to be made - scheduled for 30th October, after the
South Node Eclipse.
Now looks certain that there may be a backlash, it's already not being received well. Ruthless indeed.
The Autumn Budget day looks quite dicey indeed, it really will come as a shock. Mercury Scorpio in 2nd house of finances, only 1° away in opposition to Uranus Taurus in 8th house of taxes, debts. The bearer of bad news.
Furthermore, we will see an applying opposition from Mars Cancer, to Pluto Capricorn. 4th and 10th houses.
Both Mars and Pluto being the ruler of the 2nd house, and both planets at a critical degree of 29, Mars approaching that Anaretic degree.
Mars ruling cuts, severances, opposite Pluto which is about elimination, in its last gasp of Capricorn, so it could be about cutting away the old rules, destroying the old structures (maybe left behind by the Tories? Pluto has been in Capricorn for the bulk of their leadership).
But, it may be met with tremendous resistance as Pluto tries to cling to power in Capricorn, with a death grip. Some people will
not want the old structures gone.
Rather intriguing to see the Moon will conjunct the South Node Libra on the same day. Emphasising the need to keep certain things as they are (those old power structures).
Might be a harsh winter this year.
