‘They’re ’just animals,’ they don’t deserve to have the same basic human rights as me. They don’t deserve to feel safe or have their freedom. It’s not murder, because the world is full of murder anyway. If you eat plants, you’re a murderer as well, therefore it’s ok for me to eat murdered animal meat. Why are you trying to make me feel guilty about their death? I like the taste of meat. I don’t care about animal abuse.’
